Students MUST receive Confirmation before attending Sessions. 

The INTRO TAIKO WORKSHOP is for newcomers to the art form and the Uzume Taiko pedagogy. We will train in the basic taiko drum stroke, upright stance, drum stick grips, playing rhythms, taiko notation and drum rolls.

• SAT 1:30 - 3:00 PM

COST:

• $   65.00 per One 90-minute Session (includes taiko drumsticks rental)
   

Things to know about classes and workshops:

Classes take place at the Uzume Taiko Studio located at #100 - 11566 Eburne Way on Mitchell Island in Richmond.

• Bring a towel and water
• Bring a pair of clean, indoor shoes with good grip to wear or participate in bare feet and wear loose, comfortable clothing
• Bring Foam earplugs to protect your hearing
